Code of Conduct

  1. We want you to have fun! Chat, connect and be yourself! Please ensure that you are doing so respectfully, and in a way that allows others to do the same.

  2. We are all responsible adults and will not act like children. This means that all members of the group are expected to act responsibly concerning their health and wellbeing. This includes decisions about what and when to eat and drink. This also includes decisions about excursions, activities and adventures, especially as it is related to physical fitness, health and general wellbeing. You are responsible for all of these decisions, and while the conference and group may be able to help in certain situations, you are the ultimate responsible party and decision maker.

  3. No harassment of any type will be tolerated. We are all here to be friends and treat others like friends. Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

  4. If you engage in any problematic or disruptive behavior, the conference organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the conference with no refund. If you break the law or violate the rules of the local venue, resort, hotel or ship, the conference will not be able to help you.

  5. We value your attendance. If you are having a negative experience during the event, notice that someone else is being mistreated, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the conference staff immediately.
